I am a flute player based in Naarm/Melbourne. I play exclusively on wooden, simple system flutes, as I find the nuance, immediacy, and tactile nature of these flutes much more alluring.
I have multiple, interconnected strands to my practice: I am a devoted historically informed performer, a folk flute & tune writer, and an improviser & creator.

Celebrating a year since the release of Scribbly Gums, Jasmin Wing-Yin Leung (erhu) joins Meredith for a reimagining of the Scribbly Gums seasons. There will also be a set by percussionist & sound artists Riccardo La Foresta (Italy).

Strange Reverie @ Woodford Folk Festival
Strange Reverie combines long-form improvisations with tape field recordings in a beautiful and eerie mist of sound. Diving into memories and tactile experiences of place through the merging of analogue, digital and historical wooden flutes, Strange Reverie encourages listeners to slow down and enter a focused flow state through still and nuanced performances.
